Since GD was removed it's a bit hard to keep track of what's going on in the forums, so is it possible that we can get a "new posts" button for the forum?

Just a standard one that brings up all unread forums would do. If we could get a button that takes just the unread posts from the forums we follow that'd be even better, then we'd get some control.

i could back this. you might want to limit it to just a couple days or something and probably filter out everything beyond the jettisoned communications borders (it would be bad for someone to accidentally stumble into those territories) but other than that i think this would be a good idea that would solve many of the specific complaints that came from removing GD.

Being able to toggle forums on and off would be nice.


For example I don't need to see new posts / threads in the non-English forums.

Well hopefully we'll get something like this anyways, said they'd be fixing the search function in ask the devs 37.
