By now you've all seen the PGI raven but this one is my personal model painted in the Davion guards scheme

Some stats;
The Arms go up and down
Torso Twists
Legs can be posed and glued into place
Cast in resin and weighs around 600g
14.5cm tall (1/60 scale, equal to the likes of Armorcast, Warhammer 40k, etc)
The aerials and rails were made from 1mm wire

Davion color scheme?... Of all things? :D

The rest is great as before and that TT miniature is amazing too.

Almeras i follow the other Threads too and i have to say 1.your modells are awesome and 2.your paint skills are just Wow.
the Cockpit window of the commando and the Laser lenses on both.....fantastic.i know how much work this is,i build long time ago myself WW2 planes and German Battleships like the Tirpitz,Scharnhost,Bismarck,Gneisenau and more.
I have a Question: In every thread for this models are only light mechs or the K2,Could you plz try, when time allows it, to build a Cataphract Ilya or 3d? I would total freak out to see a CTF model in your excellent quality.I would WALK from Germany to somewhere to get a CTF model or even see one :D .Greetz

lol **** you even made a TT one

nice job the raven looks so much better (and closer to concept art for that matter) with its toes posed together. than in game with its toes wide apart.

Reason he's only done the light mechs up til now is the cost of the prototype printing. Double the size, triple the cost.

really, really nice work on these. I love your Commando. I had never really realised just how long the Raven's nose was until I saw your resin cast though. Almost thought you had gotten it wrong - then rechecked the MWO model and realised you actually had it spot on.

I haven't followed your work till now - but I assume you are 3d printing these using the game models/orthos?

It's awesome to see these. Hopefully also you get a thumbs up for a commercial production run as I am sure the demand is there.

If I may offer a suggestion/criticism though: I think the only thing that could really be improved - and I mean the only thing - would be making clear/transparent cockpit glass. The solid molding - as nicely painted as it is - is just no substitute for transparent glass and a detailed cockpit interior. It would be possible to shell out the cockpit in CAD prior to printing - and finish the model by hand. Personally I would love to see this on a future prototype.

At any rate though - two thumbs up for your work. Just excellent :D

I swear on Odins beard PGI needs to hire you for collectable and TT merchandise. I will empty out my entire savings for all the MWO mechs!

Am I the only one that had an instant mental picture of a bunch of grown men with dice and tape measures using these models to fight across a normal living room for control of the ever important TV?
