I just installed this windows 7 and did a clean wipe on my hardrive. My simply question is why is MWO installing .netframework 4 when I KNOW that I already have it and it is fully updated.. This concerns me as one of the main reasons I upgraded from XP was my .net framework went to **** and I have a feeling it is stuff like this that did it.

Now, after restarting, windows update is wanting me to update my .net framework 4 -- I just did these updates earlier today...Did MWO really just install a new version of .net framework 4 for no reason at all. This is what breaks windows fellas.

You may find its just updating/install specific .dll's. I sell POS software and some versions use specific releases of dot net that need to be installed even if windows is up to date.

You dont need to break out the tinfoil hat, just update windows... unless its not legit or something.
