Simple idea. In game loot that you sell for real money. Infinite games get's a 20% cut. So if you salvage an ER PPC you can choose to put it on the auction house. Pick up a Hunchback IIC chassis and don't want it? put it on the auction house. You can post and update auctions from your iPhone/Android phone.

An interesting idea, but I don't think that it would fly. That would cut into the profits they could make by having people just buy in game money and purchase an ER PPC that way.

How about you just make it a brower-based item, so people who can't afford, or don't want/need a 'smart' phone can use it, too?
Also, I'm not sure this would work, from what I've seen of the mechlab/gameplay videos, and I doubt they'll want to introduce a real-money marketplace quite like that.
