I wiped the dust off of my 8R with 4x SRM + Artemis and I had 3 situations where I was not even 50 meters away from a STANDING light mech firing all my SRMs into his little fragile body and...NOTHING.

No reticule being red, no visible damage indication on the enemy mech, just pure flat out nothing.

Being nerfed shouldn't mean not do anything at all!

Also had the same against a slowly walking atlas not even 100 meters away....duhhh

You will have to wait until missile HSR has been completed. It would "indirectly buff" the current state of SRMs.

HSR only matters when at least one target is moving. This is different. HSR corrects for positioning errors, which do not happen between two stationary targets.

Same has happend to my several times. To standstill target it's much 'bout luck if SRMs are going to do any damage.
Few days ago I fired an 65dmg alfa from my Atlas to a standstill Raven 3L 50m away, and it survived (barely, but it did).
Weapons were 2*LL, AC20 and 3*SRM6.
A few seconds later, TheGarth stealed that kill. ******* ;)
