Why do you even need all of them? I personally mostly use the Advanced Sensors and Advanced Target Decay. Coolshot 9x9 was my latest purchase but I really only needed these three. Others are eh.
Besides, converting GXP during the double events is dirt cheap. Like 2 dollars for a module worth of GXP.

Guess the buisness model is working lol.
I got 35 mechs by now, but only 5 modules unlocked, I still say the grind is to long. Double GXP would be enough of a grind.

Im playing since the release of open beta and Im a founder. So I got 12 weeks of premium and I ususally play ~3 hours a day. I grinded a lot on the first double XP weekend, not so much on the second. Release was in Nov 2012.
Thats 6 months of playing with 3 months of premium time. Or 2886 Games
Until today I earned 97200 GXP
Id still need 42.800 more to unlock all modules released until today, and I guess with the upcoming modules, it will be another 40.000 minimum.
Thats way to long to grind. Over half a year of continuously playing, yet Im unable to unlock all modules, even with premium time half the time.
Double the GXP gain!
Ive come across 2 different threads of yours in the past 5 min and both crying about pay 2 win. Do you have any idea what pay 2 win actually means?

Both games are currently one of the most fustrating grinding dungeons ever invented.
Both literally DEMAND that players pay beaucoup real money to unlock mega modules that are required to have basic elements of the game function properly...
Not only are both the exact OPPOSITE of any other MECHA game ever...
They are designed to be extraordinarily FUSTRATING!! which is guaranteed to turn off most deletante gamers.
To top that off...WOT can be played on virtually every installed PC...MWO uses a heavily moded graphic engine that only plays on high end system graphic PC;s.
Thus...this game will not experience the same level of use as a WOT or WOW.. The marketing model and stats are simply NOT there without major changes across the board.
Nope..what I am personally fustrated at is exactly what this thread is about...
I have purchased premium time...SIMPLY to have a chance of getting the 8 modules required to have a DECENT sensor stuite....you remember...that basic functionality that CAME WITH ALL OTHER MECH GAMES UP FRONT...
Nope....with this stupid mess...I have to pay lotsa dollars...and play months to gain the cbills...and convert the Mech xp to GXP simply to restore basic functionality..
That is the most counter productive POS I have ever experienced in any gaming system to date...
This game is about tweaking mechs...but it centers around a fair and balanced gaming envrionment...where SKILL and mech design and teamwork make the magichappen.
It is not about grinding for months on end to gain basic functionality...
That kind of dreary waste of time...to squeeze more money out of a limited player base....
Defines stu pid...
And what's even more pathetic is to see the elitist "tin foil hat" mecha fanatics with their Founder's packages...loom large and pontificate at length upon the inherent justice of a economic system that would make the Pope cry foul.....
"Do not cast your pearls before swine...lest they turn and trample you..."

Half of that doesn't even make incoherent sense.

Maybe you should double your playing time if you want more GXP? I ground out my general exp and have all my modules. If modules were necessary and must haves I would agree with you. Welcome to the end game, set some goals and accomplish them.

So what you are saying is that you spent your money unwisely? Instead of just using it to convert Mech XP to General XP you bought Premium Time. Premium Time is good for creating lots of cash in a short amount of time and getting a small boost to XP. Converting XP left over from a Mastered mech to General XP saves you a ton of grind and if you do it on the weekends when it has been cheaper you would have every module already.

Yep, thats called Pay2Win.
6 Months, while I already paid. Thats way to long. Without premium, I might only got 50.000GXP yet. Pay2Win
Keep in mind they will release more and more modules, so you cant earn them all through free play.
No - it isn't pay to win ... it is pay to save time. In the case of GXP conversion it is actually pay a very small amount to save a very large amount of time ... but it isn't pay2win since you have the opportunity to complete all of them (if you actually had any need or desire to complete all of them) ... through regular game play (albeit a lot of regular game play).
In addition, in my opinion, none of the modules provide a sufficient advantage to be considered essential ... or to be considered pay 2 win. The closest is the coolant flush and I've used it twice, watched it used in spectator mode, and to be honest the player skill in aiming is a much bigger factor than the possible one extra shot before shutting down that is provided by the coolant flush.
So ... as much as you would like to have all the modules unlocked and feel that you should have that by now given the time you have played ... that is a totally different question from pay2win.

I have 60k GXP due to converting only during XP->GXP sales. And I already have Adv Sensor Range, Enh Zoom, and Adv Target Decay (One of those was a major waste). And I can't bring myself to buy any other modules.
I'm expecting Seismic to be kind of meh too.
So I wouldn't worry unless PGI figures out how to make good modules.
