This person is obviously a foreign intelligence agent, meant to slander the good name of House Steiner!Anyone seriously suggesting a new Steiner assault would suggest the Zeus, the darling of many Lyran generals and one of their most successful light mechs.

The Hauptmann is so far outside anything we'll see in the game, in its introduction date (3060), in its armament (LB-X AC/20? ER small laser?), and in it's technology (Inner Sphere Omnimech?) that the idea we'd get it in 3050 is ridiculous.

IF HOUSE STEINER CAN READ AND COMPREHEND, THEN WHY DOES IT SEEM IT ESCAPES EVERYONE ELSE? NO WHERE DID I SAY IT NEEDED TO HAPPEN NOW, IT JUST NEEDS TO HAPPEN. MOST IMPORTANTLY WE NEED MORE STEINER MECHS, A ZEUS WOULD BE A WELCOME ADDITION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO REPRESENT.

A true Steiner knows that the tiny weight saved by using LBX means there is room for more guns.
