It seems that the last set of functioning BattleTech pods from VWE were auctioned off this past weekend. Mr. Biggs FFC in Colorado Springs closed down and sold everything. It would have been fun to play MWO in one of the Tesla II pods. :(

Now we have to wait for MekTek's "location-based entertainment" project they're working on. Sad face. :/

I'm actually pretty upset about this, mostly because I got my weekends mixed up. I have meetings in CO Springs this coming saturday and in my calendar I noted the auction on the same (wrong) day. I had glorious dreams of rigging it up for MWO, especially with Artemis? How cool would that be?

The Artemis is what got me started thinking about this in the first place. I was hoping to be able to bring my wife down to show her the Firestorm version first hand.
