I cant stand the new death delay. It took me a couple days of playing to realize it was a new feature and not lag or a bug delaying the targeting from turning off.

I have wasted a lot of ammunition, spiked my heat, and missed out on reacting to new opponents because of the delay. I have gotten killed because I was still focusing on a dead mech that my targeting computer was still actively targeting.

Do not show us how a mech died for a second or two during the middle of battle. That information is better shown at the end of the round screen, in its own tab where you can see every damage paper doll of every player whether they were destroyed or not.

In the middle of a battle, the most pertinent information is not how a mech was destroyed, but whether it is functional or not. Keep the targeting box on a mech after it has been destroyed only if the color of the box (black, gray, something that people who are colorblind can distinguish) instantly changes to reflect the mech's status. If the color can't be changed, then get rid of this "feature" because it causes more headache than is necessary.

experienced a lot of friendly fire being a brawler due to this change.

people cant see the mech falling and stop shooting when the marker vanishes.
