Misery - Inferior Or Superior Stalker?

The Misery gets a ballistic hard-point, and loses a bunch of other hard-points Also, the torso twist is nothing special. So would you say that the Misery is the superior or the inferior of the two models?
Obviously the two 'Mechs are going to excel in different areas; however, I'm looking for an overall gauge of which 'Mech tends to be better.

My other Stalkers have worse than 2.0 KDR. :/
I'd personally consider 3F the better one, but also position Misery as one of the best mechs I have - and clearly above the other Stalkers. Misery's ability to deal serious damage with the Gauss even when it's running very hot is something other Stalker models can't do.
Just my opinion. I'm no great player.

Na I don't think that this or that Stalker is better as the other Stalker. But because I only run a stalker who can mount 2xams 2x 2 slot missiles and 4x lazors it is not acceptable.

I drive the 5S as my main ride. Its a 3F that sacrificed the torso twist for 2 AMS. A good tradeoff in my view since I have no problem with a limited torso twist.
The Misery is without a doubt the most 'brawler' and 'sniper' of the bunch. 4 PPCs and a Gauss and its a sniper like no other. Especially if you macro in the exact timing so the PPCs and gauss impact at the same time.
As a brawler its just plain nasty. AC20 with 3 large pulsers (or LL's) and an SRM6.. thats nearly 70 damage in an alpha hit. Ive seen Misery's one shot atlases from behind with that.

3 LL
AC20
SSRM2
STD 295
endosteel
15 double heatsinks
near max armor
and i never overheat and shut down which is the stalker trademark

If you're a Stalker fan, I do think you should have one in your mech bay, but it may not be your favorite STK. Personally, I've had the most success with 5-6 LL stalker builds. But the Misery is still pretty satisfying to use.

The Stalker has a huge advantage when it comes to Ridge fighting, so use it to the fullest.

Misery could probably work well with 4xLL in arms, ac20+ML+srm6 for brawling if that fits with a std 250 engine. I'd view gauss as a liability as its pretty easy to target the side torso's.

It's not about what the mech can do, it's about what you can do with the mech.

I run:
310 Std Engine for 59kph speed (without speed tweak)
1 AC20 + 4 tons ammo
5 ML
1 SRM6 + Artemis + 1 ton ammo
Beagle Active Probe
DHS and Endo Steel, 0 slots free
The advantage is that it is very fast for a fat brawler, the problem is that it packs less punch and armor than the direct competitors.
It is an interesting Mech and fun to play but no way P2W, that is just wrong. There are better brawler builds and better sniper builds, no need to cry foul.
I suspect the big protruding thingie it has invokes some kind of "envy" from those who don't own one ...

Turn Time = time it takes to complete one complete 360 degree turn while moving at top speed.
Acceleration Time = time it takes to go from zero to full speed (65 KPH).
Stalker 3-F
Max Speed: 65 KPH
Max Torso Twist: 95 degrees
Turn Time: 10.8 seconds
Acceleration Time: 3.5 seconds
Stalker Misery
Max Speed: 65 KPH
Max Torso Twist: 85 degrees
Turn Time: 9.8 seconds (10% faster than the 3-F)
Acceleration Time: 3.1 Seconds (10% faster than the 3-F)
As you can see there were no real surprises with my results... same values as PGI stated in the patch notes. So which variant is superior? The answer, as usual, depends on your play style. Personally I prefer the Misery because it does a better job at it's intented role: long distance direct fire support. I can bring it's 4 arm mounted PPC's to bear just over the top of a ridge, do a quick stop, move to a new position relatively quiclkly and get another alpha off.
