I got REALLY bored with my pending status and decided to create a forum about my favorite means of transportation: cars!

The question is: what's your favorite car?

Mines is the Porsche 356 1100 Cabriolet of 1950.

Always been a fan of German cars, love the Porsche 959. As for a more "realistic" car, the Audi TTRS. With some tweaking, that thing slays supercars

it was a junk but a beautiful junk a 57 stingray corvet. it had a lot of issues as it was a rush job to get out to the floor but a little up to date tech and its a smoking little car.

This.

Thats why:

Its 100% electric and beats almost anything 4wheeled on public Roads in acceleration ( <- this sentence has been edited from "literally anything" to what it says now. Someone brought up the Bugatti Veyron...). Round 2.500 have been sold. Its been OOP for a while, is labelled "SOLD OUT" for NA, but being revamped for Europe atmo
.
Checkout http://www.teslamotors.com/roadster/ for more Information. The Stock also makes for a rly interesting and promising investment option, I am up about 40% since Feb last year...

Edit: I just sent an email to TeslaMotors about whether theyre Ok with me posting direct Links to their website here. If they are bothered about it anyhow, I will remove the Links ASAP ofc .

Eww, electric. I don't care how fast your car is, but electric sucks the fun out of everything.

/Shudder

Besides that, it's hardly the fastest street-legal car out there - the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is faster by a good margin.

#

but 4 times (at least) more expensive and does 6mpg.

I like the Veyron, but I'm down with the Tesla, anything lighter and more manoeuvrable is awesome in my books! (don't forget most roads have corners! LOL)

Whoa. Didnt know about that one. Just looked it up, and sure thing is 2.5 secs way faster acceleration than 3.7...ill edit my post.

Some Details of the comparison made me smile :).

The Veyron - not taking into account the Variants rly - sports roughly 5 times the horsepowers of a Tesla Roadster...needing 4 (!) Turbos for that.
The Veyron costs roughly 20 times as much as the Roadster.
The Veyron can max out at 1ltr/km gas usage (!).

I agree that Car is a BEAST...just like a Dinosaur. :D

The Veyrons made by a subsiduary of Volkswagen I saw one in Berlin once it truly is an awesome beast (HUGE!) the engine was like something you'd expect to see in a futuristic space fighter not a road car!

Very off topic this thread but hey....

From do-able to dreaming:

Alpha Romeo Giulietta or Spider

Lotus Elise (true classic)

Pretty much any Aston Martin... except for the Lagonda (fugly) and the Cygnet (***)
