I'm running MWO for the first time in a while and have 9 patches to download. On patch 5/9, the stated size is 106.9 MB, but its now up to 202MB, and the ETA is in negatives... Should I close the patcher or is this some sort of error with the stated size and ETA and download is actually working correctly?

I'm experiencing the same issue after trying to run the game for the first time.
Got this on my third patching attempt after getting the MD5 hash mismatch error twice.

Same here.. lightwell. I was crashing to desktop when loading a map. I tried to use the client patch fix found on this forum and it found a lot of bad area's. It downloaded and SAID it fixed them. I continued to crash with an error of FREAD only reading 108 out of 0 MB.. this started to happen tonight.. not this morning or any other time. After multiple times of trying. I uninstalled the game and re-downloaded. Now I'm getting the same error you are of MD5 Has mismatch error. I have patched and redownloaded the game 5-10 times with the same results. Guess that means I'm done with this game. What a shame too, cause I REALLY enjoyed it.

I started another Thread called "Possible MD5 and/or FRead error fix". I was having the same problems and after doing those steps, it fixed my issue. It might work for you.
