Just a reminder for all those

who don't know the sacrifice

made today 68 years ago.

D Day



We in the MDS would like to take a moment an remember all those who fought an lost there lives in the battle that changed a generation. 1944 June 6th. The biggest american invassion since WW1. Thousands gave there lives to right a wrong.

We Salute those who served

those who died

An those who are still serving

on this day of days

Make it a point to thank a soldier today

NEVER FORGOTEN

Who could forget such an event? :lol:

Salute to all people who were there, even if I'm not in army.



It kinda makes me wonder, though. Why is D Day celebrated, whiloe events like the stopping of German invasion to Russia is never heard of? If they made it to Moscow, there would be no D Day in the first place. But that'đ a bit off-topic, so let's just honor the lives of those soldiers and leave the discussion on some other date.
