A lot of us are noticing that heat build up seems to be way above average from pre-patch. As if the Double Heat Sinks are not functioning properly.

I love the lack of evidence there. Not even anecdotal evidence, just the vast sweeping generalization that "a lot of us" are noticing a major change.
Well, I haven't noticed anything, and neither have all the people I'm going to include without quotes or names.

If I had evidence, I wouldn't be submitting it to the forum in the form of a question. I would be submitting it directly to PGI. I posted this here because a lot of the people whom I play with noticed what seemed to be an increased amount of heat while we have been playing today. Considering the track record of patch's breaking the code, it isn't beyond the realm of possibility for the Devs to look into. Perhaps instead of being snide and bitchy, you could have simply said "That is odd, none of the people I have been playing with have noticed anything".

Our unit was running 8v8 sparring tonight, and everyone involved agreed that their builds appeared to be heating up differently across the board. I know my 4 L. Pulse build loaded down with DHS and elited out was overheating with 2 alphas, which is a radical shift from pre-patch. All were also noticing startup sequences appearing to take a few seconds longer than normal. Other members with multi-PPC builds were having similar issues, and this was on Canyon (so not a particularly hot map). Unclear where the problem is; whether it's a DHS glitch, or an efficiencies break like in the past. Hard to quantify or screenshot a problem like that, but without swapping all sinks out to test, it FELT like they might be functioning like singles.

Rip them out and replace with singles.
I didn't do this intentionally, I was helping a friend earn that last bit to DHS for his Raven.
DHS are noticably better than SHS. Maybe something is broken, but I would have expected the Math Wizards to have reported it by now. I'd say it's just anecdotal.
And I fail to see why Canyon would be a good test map, since it is clearly a sun baked 'desert' area. I cannot possibly believe the temperature there is 'baseline' like Forest Colony.

seems fine, my 5 LL stalker can still have a constant LL beam going at neglible heat increase.
