Heya,

I noticed in the MC purchasing window that the transaction system is powered by Ultimate Pay. I've seen Ultimate Game Cards for sale at drugstores near me, but they aren't listed as a source of payment (unless you hit the "help" link, in which a generic help menu comes up listing them as a payment source).

Has anyone tried using an Ultimate Game Card to buy MC's?

Nice catch Dr Nick, The Day may come when Mechwarriors can get MC at a local store.

I have before, but its an indirect process and that was a long time ago, not sure if they would still do it. By memory, I did something along the lines of redeeming the gift card on their website, and when I went to buy mc on this website it said I had money on my account.

As said above, that was a long time ago, but it may help anyone trying to work it out

We'll take a look at this. It seems to be a special feature for video games and not a typical Playspan service in the same way their debit/credit service is,

I have done this before. My very first MC purchase used 1 dollar's worth of leftover playspan points as I went to put in my card info. It is automatic through their little pay-program for debit cards. Their amounts however are not the same amounts as MWO's listed prices, so there will always be some 'left over' or 'not enough' when buying their cards which come in intervals of 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 50 dollars rather than exact amounts.

The game did accept the points. But on a business standpoint it is recommended to ask how that works as I believe it comes as part of their service.
