Take for instance, the TImber Wolf-A, with three Energy Hardpoints in the Left Torso. Assuming that those same Hardpoints are arranged in a triangular formation where the Prime's Missile Hardpoint is (for aesthetic purposes), we could have it such that if you have three identical Energy Weapons occupying those Hardpoints and chain-fire them, the triangular cluster in question will revolve in a similar manner to the barrels of an Ultra Autocannon.
Example: Timber Wolf-A chain fires its triplet Medium Pulse Lasers. The Medium Pulse currently at the top of the cluster fires as normal and will rotate clockwise to allow the second Medium Pulse to be positioned at the top of the cluster, and the pattern repeats.
However, this only works if all three weapons in the Hardpoint are identical. If one of the Medium Pulse Lasers is replaced with a different laser of type or size, the Ultra Autocannon-style revolving will not happen.
What does this bring to us~? Well, not much in terms of performance, but hey--you can brag about your Mech's 'Laser Gatling' now, yes~?

Thoughts~? =u=
