As stated the Launcher crashes/shuts down after/during the patch. It shows that it has downloaded the full game/patch and the bar shows 100% and 1/1. Then the launcher just closes..
Any help?

Had this issue.
It seemed to create the directories but not update or install anything afterwards.
What I did was find the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Piranha Games. You should have two folders inside that I am sure you must duplicate if they do not carry over the following:
Right clicked the folder and selected Properties.
Clicked the Security Tab.
Clicked Edit.
Gave every listed Group and User Full Control, clicked apply and OK. Did not know which Group or User was the correct one and did not care to find out, so I shotgunned it.
Reran the patch.
That seemed to fix it.
What I figured is some sort of Permission issue was preventing the Patch and in my case, a fresh install from completing.
My OS, Win 7 x64

You have to start the launcher with administrator rights. You will encounter these kind of problems very often with other games and programmes

Just started on me a couple patches ago crashes during patching. Gotta run the repair tool to fix it. I've been playing since beta never had this problem till I switched to 64 bit. Devs should fix that sheet lol.
