Been trying to figure out an intermittent source of wireless interference between my first floor wireless and my tower upstairs... about 40 feet straight line distance between them.
The baby monitor.
Testing speed to a local internet provider using Speedtest.net...
With baby monitor off, download from 10 MBit to 17 MBit (and ping around 10)
With baby monitor on, download from <1 Mbit to 2 MBit (and ping from 20-35).

I like wired connections myself.

Since niko said we shouldn't assume you are trolling here goes...
Get a wireless ip cam, better value than off the shelf baby monitor - run browser with IP cam in background
Or get second monitor and use that for both ip cam and ts3
See I'm a nice guy afterall.

And oh try switching channels on the baby monitor or the router.. Or get a wired connection for your computer...
Also, try powerline internet adaptors but that is iffy on how your wall sockets are wired - both ends have to share the same circuit breaker to minimize noise and latency.

Other sources of intereference - Christmas tree lights, leakage from microwave ovens. Things that block wireless signals - water (including fish tanks), metallic mesh or frames.
I use 200Mbps powerline adaptors with no trouble (Solwise Piggy 6).
We gave up with the baby monitors after our first child - they would not have alerted us if the baby stopped breathing and when the baby was crying - you could hear it regardless of where you were in the house.

Wireless and gaming usually doesn't go together well.... too many interference sources, which equates to higher than normal packet loss= dead in MWO ........

Yeah, I'd just wire it. ...no matter how small or dark of a hole you have to wiggle into the bowls of your home to get that cable run... No matter how itchy that insulation is or how hot it is in your attic, just remind yourself how much better it will be.
