So PGI kinda murdered the old AC/20 CN9 when they went to add the YLW.
I can see why they did this, it's not a bad business decision and it doesn't make anything that is P2W.
I haven't bought the YLW though, even though the AH was my favorite mech in CB. I kinda like missiles, and something about having all my weapons be ammo-dependent makes me feel like quite the malevolent donkey.
Now that they have the Champion mechs out though, they could reintroduce the AH without upsetting their business model. They could even hit the AH with an engine cap nerf to ensure it doesn't overshadow the YLW.
I think the melatonin tablets are starting to kick in, but I hope you find this bit of insomniac rambling interesting.

They could always bring it back as a hero mech.
I would not get it, I did not like it much. However there are people who did enjoy it.

I think removing the CN9-AH was the first real ****** move that PGI made, and displayed a greedy attitude.
They took balanced completed content OUT of the game, to sell more of their premium content.
They should never have released the AH in the first place, but once they did they should not have removed it to push wangs.

I miss the CN9-AH, being ammo only had a certain charm to it. Taking it out for the Wang was a **** move.

They can put it back in once they give the Wang another couple of energy hardpoints on the left arm
