Hey everyone. On a talk about the weak Strikes, I got to thinking about this and I thought I'd pop in and see what others thought.

Effectively, making some consumables only function if a target is NARCed; likewise, making some modules that give the NARC Beacon alternate effects would be really interesting.

What I mean is you could have a "Broadcast NARC Upgrade" that broadcasts the position for longer as a module, or a "NARC Tracking v2" that gives the NARC Beacon itself tracking abilities. Maybe even some neat ones could be added to EMP 'mechs and such, or one that screws up your tracking abilities while it's attached.

NARC Specialty ammo is a thing, but this is more an idea to add debuff effects to any narc pod. Before anyone wants to get into canon on it.. the whole module system isn't canon anyway, so we're in uncharted country here.

I just think it'd be a good way to make NARCs feel more "Electronic warfarery" if they could be customized in different ways.

interesting..i like your idea. Certainly at least some aspect of what you're saying should be implemented, it's a good idea.
