behold the pedals of logitech's flagship hotas system!!

anyway, it is cheap for a full HOTAS - but man oh man did logitech cut corners with this product...

3-4 months of daily MWO use and the dreaded jitter / reversal bug appeared on my G940's pedal.

this product is still under warranty but i don't want to go through the RMA process and still get saddled with the design defect -- in short the potentiometer (pot) sucks balls and the crappy pot is held in place quite poorly...

the good thing and funny thing about this fix is that i completed it while waiting for 8-manz to form up...

steps
1.) remove the back panel / simple screws

2.) remove the stupid pot

3.) open up the pot and use a compressed air can to clean it up (if you don't know how to open a pot, youtube is your friend...)

4.) and for the Pièce de résistance -- a healthy application of blue tag at the base panel to help hold the pot in place...

and presto -- fixed and performing better than when it came out of the box just in time to smash face in 8-man drops!!

EDIT: may i interest you in my G940 throttle fix? http://mwomercs.com/...__fromsearch__1
