I crave for more match maker options such as de-selecting certain types of players or mech types. In the current state of affairs light mech pilots are encouraged to just leave their team members behind to die while pursuing their own quick hit quake-like agenda. Currently not only can they be armed with the biggest guns in the business they are also too survivable which makes them far too tempting to act as independent mech types. We need some balance restore here PGI! Light mech pilots should be scouts not one man spearheads. It makes other mechs look redundant.

This post must be this date in 2012. No player could still be having trouble with lights as of today.

Yep, this is why the game is flooded, positively overrun, with lights. Almost every match I drop in there are 8-10 lights, 4-6 mediums, and only 1-2 heavies/assaults.

I crave more options myself. like only 1-2 fatties per match so that the real men can duke it out in lights and mediums instead of hiding behind 100 tons of armour and guns and then whining when they can catch or outsmart/fight a light mech.
