on their screen they are hitting you, and thats what counts for HSR. (otherwise what would be the point?)

If that were the case why don't we all just roll dice and see what happens? If I am clearly dodging a shot, I should not be hit by it. If I get behind cover and then a second later BOOM I take center torso damage, don't you think something is wrong with that?

Oh but because he shot me on his screen it's okay that I was behind cover on mine, thus making my maneuverability less prioritized in the server's eyes. That's not right, Asmosis and I'm sure deep down you know it is too.

Halarious thread.

Ballastics have issues when its a NA player fighting someone from across the Ocean. During CET daytime hours you can hit anything. 2am rolls around and suddenly some Aussie with 300 ping has a lag shield....

I dont see this as a "fix it" PGI issue. I see the need for a seperate server, eventually.

Ballistics are good atm. I can actually hit a light mech with a guass rifle. When you play vs those with 200+ ping you need to aim ahead....preeeeettty simple fix imo

lawl @ the guy saying "with my steady 262 ping i was unable to hit this guy"


Yeaaaaaaa.....thats the problem there. Eventually there will be an oceantic server like every other game and all will be well. waste of a thread

I notice this worst of all with my 6ppc build. I dont get this problem when i chain fire. If i group fire then the dmg i do is not even close to 6 shots. I just did a match where i got atleast 8 direct hit group shots. 8 x 60 = 480. I got 220 dmg when i died at the end....

When i chain fire in matches i get a realistic dmg tally.

Just to be sure, are you accounting for damage falloff between Long Range and Max Range?
