You will have to do much better than this in order for people to take you seriously. Why don't you begin with elaborating on how Misery (65 degree torso twist, comes with a ballistic hardpoint in a Stalker's most vulnerable location) is better than 3F (85 degree torso twist, symmetrical hardpoints) and then give us some details on how IM is better than, let's say, 3D (which happens to have JJs and trades 1 ballistic hardpoint for an energy one).
No, I will not have to do better. It's my opinion.
The bottom line is this.
The 3 Ultra Auto cannon, 3 ML Ilya is the best offensive loadout Cataphract. I've played many, many, many hundreds of rounds in all the Cataphract variants, and nothing kills faster than the above Ilya.
The AC/20, 4 LL Misery on hot maps kills faster. Perhaps you can get better damage or killing power on a 6 Iaser hardpoint Stalker on cold maps. But that AC20 is brutal. 4xSRM6 Artemis at 50 meters is better, but at more critical slots for the missles and ammo and less for the lasers most important ally, the double heat sink... its a trade off for sure. AC20 don't generate much heat.
Misery is 'better', and the Ilya is THE best Heavy in game right now.
And this is my opinion.
All your torso twist nonsense, weapon convergence, and weapon symetry, jumps jets.. etc.. are just excuses or reasons that really do not change a battlemechs true damage profile. If its in range, a good pilot will hit it, regardless of the above mentioned variables.
That's why I advocate for a weapon such as a UAC5, not easy to use well, but when used well is very, very strong.
