Did you guys observe a rase in FPS with this fix?

I ask because in all cases, where I see FPS drops, hitting shift+F11 raises FPS by a huge margin...

After removing V-Sink, turning off HUD raises FPS from 65 to sometimes over 100...

Looking forward to figuring this out post patch, because I have this problem as well.

HUD still takes a good double digit (at least 10) amount of framerate. I'm sure the hud bugfixing has helped pgi progress to solving it though.

deamur, thanks for the reply.

I do not know much about game design, however I feel that a 30FPS variace to
draw a static, flat 2D image on screen is abnormal.

Is this a fair stamenet or does the HUD require 30% or a 7870OC/FX8350 to draw?

Technically the HUD is a "Flash based" shader heavy overlay as far as I can tell. You may continue to groan about Flash.
