I think t a bit slow. I earn 02k average according to my stats. at that I'll need100 drops to start on atlas' (My next mech choice.)
I do premium time but like a lot of folks I have a family and a budget. and this game is frightengly expensive for a "Free" game.
mostly I by mc to xp swap so I can speed the process of unlocking varients I don
't want to play. (The K2 comes to mind a sh** varient of a classic mech
