It seems that people who actually play the game mode as intended (taking points) get near nothing in return unless they win. I tend to play the Map objective unlike a lot of people who just use conquest maps as another Death Match and just run to the middle.
Its just disappointing to be the only person capping points on a losing team and not get rewarded for it.
Apologies if this has been brought up before but I didn't see anything calling it out.

I've been tiresomely trying to level a couple of Trebs through Elite - in conquest matches having 80+ speed, it's more advantageous from a trying to win the match standpoint to capture and defend bases - from a rewards standpoint it simply sucks.
In three matches this morning I was the last mech standing - 2 of them we won because I had spent the entire match capping, though at less than 20 damage done during each match I got jack for rewards. By the third time I found myself the last remaining mech, tired of not getting squat, sat at the enemy starting base on Alpine and piece by piece destroyed an afk mech for 600+ damage waiting for the remaining assaults and heavies to lumber back and finish me off...
A large percentage of the total cumulative damage done by the entire team for conquest maps should be divided equally back to each player on the team - otherwise the capping mechs that prevent the match from ending prematurely or that win the match when the rest of the team is dead get utterly shafted.

As far as I can tell, I get less rewards overall in Conquest than in Assault. There is something in the math that doesn't make them equal...

I think you get half the amount of cbills for kills and assists. And maybe damage as well. This might be somewhat ok if the resource points paid the team out enough to make up the difference from assault mode, but it doesn't. There is no reason one game mode should be more rewarding than another.
The worst part of this is I prefer the fights in conquest and the way the objectives play out. But I often switch to only assault because you make way more cbills in that mode.
