First off, did you send in a ticket to support? I had this issue once, and I tried everything short of reinstalling Windows. I finally broke down and bought a new graphics card which fixed the problem. Granted, my graphics card was 7 years old at the time, so it was really long in the tooth. One thing that *may* work for you is to uninstall MWO, run a program like CCleaner and then install MWO in a different directory.

Hope your fix is easy and less expensive than mine had to be.

So: I am incredulous you have sixteen gigabytes of VRAM, so get a copy of GPU-Z and get that sorted out.

Once you have your actual VRAM size, push it into your user.cfg
sys_budget_videomem = y
like so.

He has 16gb of system ram, not vram.

My question is: Do you have your driver settings forcing anything? That can be used successfully, but there are certain settings/cards that result in really wacky stuff.

For example, if I use my driver settings to force Anti-aliasing (because MWO's is awful) I get this awesome thing where terrain is transparent. Not exactly like your screenshot, but very close. It'd be a flat out exploit as I can see mechs everywhere, except that moving around is extremely difficult without being able to see terrain.

If you've changed your global driver settings, make a MWO profile with Application Default or Application Controlled for *everything*. If you haven't, make sure you don't have a profile for MWO doing anything.
