I really like the concept of various map commands. You can direct players to specific coordinates for specific tasks. It's a good system overall. However, it's clunky and hard to manage when you're in the middle of combat.

Suggestion:

Create chat commands that allow commanders to place markers on the map without having to open the map up. For example, if I'm a lance commander and I type: "move C4" the move button will appear for my lance in the middle of coordinate C4 on the map.

You could even create shorter commands for experienced commanders. Instead of "move C4", you could type "m c4"

This is a two-pronged approach that alerts players he is issuing a command through chat and makes it easier to do without popping out of combat.

mouse based commands will remain unchanged and will be useful in situations where you need more precise command placement. This will simply be a supplement to encourage more drop commanding.

You might even make lance chat commands only work if you do it in lance chat. This would help avoid confusion in game when someone on the other lance reads "attack C4".

More examples:
"Attack C4" or "a c4"

"Left Flank C4" or "lf c4"

"Attack Alpha C4" or "a a C4"

Extra suggestion: Add commands that specifically target bases in both Assault and Conquest. "Attack Epsilon" should pop up an attack bar on epsilon base
