so im out of mc at the moment. Dont realy feel like spending cash right now on more but im out of mech bays. So im wondering should i be strong, NOT buy MC and NOT get any more mechbays for now, and use this weekend to save up cash.

Then come patch day get more MC (or im really strong hold off till next weekend) and use all the saved cash to buy and deck out the 3 needed variants of the blackjack....


or do i say screw that noise, buy some MC get my mech bays and finish the hunchbacks and then tommorow figure out what mechs to start leveling next and get to the blackjack when ever i get to it?

also forgot to put in if i go hunchies which should be my last 2 i have the 4P already (wanted to try the 9 medium pulse build its funny)

but i just not sure what other ones to get... i was thinking going with the current trial one but i dunno.

I'd say wait for the patch and if you like what you see, support the game again by buying more mc otherwise hold off ~ that is just my opinion though.

Do what you want to do, if you don't care about the cash and have spare money do what you want but if you are actually strapped to a certain extent like I am then I would say hold off and just try to generate cbills and work on your little mech projects while waiting for every consecutive patch to make the game better.

That is my plan anyway.

right now im just hitting a f'ing rut,

the only mechs i have left to do the 3 mech/mastery for is(leveling is what keeps me playing)

dragon (sort of looking forward to that but then again i think im going insane for thinking that....)

thats it im doing the hunchies now (i try to do them all in 3's unless i get an itch to try a differnt mech too) after that none of them are really calling to me or there arent any builds ive seen that seem fun. I want to do a LRM boat at some point just for yits and giggles, but i sort of scratched that by doing a 3x20 LRM A1. also im not a huge fan of assaults they just dont seem that powerful with the crit slot/heat restictions. i mean all mechs only have around 53-57 crit slots regardless of their size and even the biggest mechs can have heat issues.

but i will level everything eventually its just what next... maybe do the awesomes since istarted them for a test, but god i HATE saving up 10+ mill per mech....

Forget 9 med pulse, use 8 large lasers... Lowest engine possible, 8LLs, all the extra weight for armor, just default/necessary 10 heatsinks... Alpha for the win

Mate, exercise some will power, I still have the 20,000 MC I got from my Founder's package.

The game being a Beta/soft launch does not necessitate players buying every mech they can. The point of this Beta is to stress the system by playing, not by buying stuff (contrary to PGI's marketing). I have only purchased three mechs beyond the Founder's four that I have, of those three purchased, I have sold one (the Hunchie-4P, which I may get again, since it is already master).

oh i think people are missunderstanding

i dont buy the MECH's with MC, i use MC for mechbays lol i use C-bills for mechs, i have bought a few very cheap mechs for MC with leftover MC though.

I'm waiting on the Blackjack myself. There will be 40,000 of them.

I'd rather work on builds that don't only work on other Blackjacks. lol

There will be a lot of cash and prizes for shooting idiots trying to pack as many guns as they can into them.
