I will add to this. You don't actually need the hero mech version. Technically in this time period Kai Allard-Lia is running around in the YLW, and he has it kitted out with a Gauss Rifle and 3 medium pulse lasers (you can skimp and use 2) and goes as fast as possible (aka get a big engine).
I have my CNT-9D rigged up in a pseudo Yen Lo Wang, as the Gauss will fit in a normal Centurion 'A or 'D model just fine.
Shocked my brother when I told him that, and so we both are running around at 90+ KPH in Gauss armed Centurions.
