look i did search the forums, the solutions seem to range from last year to last week but all say to change it in the user config....one problem...i dont seem to have one. i looked in every directory in phirrrana game/mechwarrior online. has something change? this mouse deal is a game breaker, way to sensitive. hard to believe theres not a slider, after all this has been open beta for how long now? developers on vacation?

user.cfg is no longer included in the installation of the game. It is, however, simply a blank text file named "user.cfg" and is easily created by the user.
My mouse has always been fine under default conditions, I wonder if the excess of sensitivity is due to your hardware and not the game?
The game in under construction, and new features are being added all the time, so hopefully an in-client mouse sensitivity will be added eventually.

yea, i tried that via the instructions given in the forums, and no go. every one keeps saying look in c\games\phiranna...but my gane directory is stored in programs so not sure whats going on. posts i have seen asking for some control were from last year so it seems change is very slow, since quite a few posts have been made, oh well, i'll play for free, thanks anyway.

Right click on your MWO shortcut, that will show you where your game is at.
Also, if you are NOT able to see the extensions for the computer files dumbfile.dll, mechwarrioronline.exe but instead you see only dumbfile, mechwarrioronline then when you do save the cfg file it will still end in txt and the game will not read it.
