What I am trying to do is make it so the joystick y axis cotnrols my throttle, here is what I want.

Pull Back on Y = Slow down
Push Forward on Y = Speed Up
Default Position = no effect

How it currently works is

Pull Back on Y = Slow down
Push Forward on Y = Speed Up
Default Position = Full stop

So pretty much right now i am required to push forward on my joystick the entire match, if anyone has any advice let me know!

Is throttle decay on or off?

Throttle decay is off,

The problem is for some reason mwo will only detect the Y axis as a single button, so i either have to put it under analog throttle, or only get to choose to accelerate or decelerate

Someone asked a similar question on a reddit thread I started, and I haven't tried this myself but I would suggest either getting the joy2mouse emulator loc nar suggested, or using your joysticks own software to map the forward/backward positions to "W" and "S" keyboard keys, and then disable throttle decay.
