If you guys ARE selected for Beta, your Pending WILL NOT change color automatically.

You will be emailed a BETA KEY which you have to put into the REDEEM CODE section in your Profile.

At that point, the PENDING will change to the "Welcome to Beta > Download" banner (Green in color).

Clicking on THAT link will take you to the download client / NDA agreement, etc.

I've been a battlemech fan since my dad got the RPG out and dusted off his minifigs when I was seven. I'm seventeen now and still collect the minifigs, videogames, and books. I just hope to Davion's Sun that I get picked this go around! Being a mech pilot in high def is worth the wait, but that still doesn't help my ADD...

now that they are up to 2500 testers that means they have about 45 people now in beta that actually do debug and such reports. At least that seems about the average of what I see in beta test. I hope the few that actually test are working hard at it to make up all the people that think beta means early access and to find any glitch's they can use to there advantage when the game goes live instead of reporting them to get fixed. I hope the number of good testers to bad is much better then average.

GRRR everyone in my clan in the other games I play seems like they already have a key, I keep getting this "OH! YOUR not playing mechwarrior yet? hehehehehe" crud thrown in my face everytime I log onto any other game! BAH! lol

Born in 90. Played every MechWarrior PC release from MechWarrior 2 and on. I can most happily say I grew up with the game, in one form or another. A great set of games, great lore, not to mention the sentimental value that's accumulated by now. Gotta point out how happy I am the Devs seem to be doing such a great job with the game, and to all of you who've gotten in, you have my congrats... and envy.
Here's to hoping I get to take to the field next time round.
