I was on the closed beta for World of Tanks. You need more than 500 keys to get an accurate reporting on any problems with the game.

Having been a long time player of the Mechwarrior series since i got my first computer, i hope that we all get a open beta soon and bring back those great memories.

I usually see the 500 more beta key posts read teh first post then move on because I know the following posts will be mostly the begging pleading kind but reading your post Paul I was worried as your post was kind of mm Kind and nice about it even some nice humor. I first wondered if someone took over your account? Did someone slip you some nice pills? Did not having your two bosses around start to make you soft and squishy? I had to read on and there is was some posts later you responding on how long it takes the keys to go out with the redacted inserted in ....Paul back to normal posting... whew.

THough i have no way of knowing wouldnt suprise me that a percentage of these last two beta key outputs went to press and such. This is normal esp at shows like E3. Was hoping you guys might get on one of the live stream shows but looked like only the big boys get on those. Oh well. Congrats to those that got keys this time. Enjoy the beta and help make it a good game for all of us.

There are about 3,000 people (that we know of) that are in the closed beta. That number is climbing by the week, so I wouldn't sweat it out if I where you.

so i dont expect to let some of "us" or me as german in beta anyway.
so we europeans are there to get them money, for a game which is compleatly untested in europe and build for NA players.
doesnt mean its bad, but we have different focus points.
what happens you already can see at Star Wars the old Republic. which also was only tested from NA.

on top of that, europeans are feeling more and more like trahs bcause of this.

Well . thats not quite the same thing. Its not got anything to do with the beta at the moment and they have also said that there is no restriction on purchases outside USA .. just that they cant guarantee the experience due to lag.

Does that confirm or refute what you are saying .. not really. It could well be they arent handing out keys to people outside usa but we cant tell from that announcement. Hope still springs ...

I would like to know if these beta invites are only going out to North American players though. Would save me a lot of checking and wondering if I'm going to get a key if I knew being in Australia automatically discounted me.

anyway now its something like 1 / 150.000 luck so its very small amount of beta players concerned even if they have a system that cancel beta key if user dont claim it after x days.

Christmas? Already? Anyway the game is gonna come. Probably we already know that it is the biggest online and not only- gaming news I ve had the last 2-3 years. And Imagine what else came out at this time. Nothing compares with the raw adrenaline excitement of MW universe. Metal against Metal, brains & wits vs Brains and bits... I couldn't be more exited on the concept of getting an early beta K. Anyway, when it comes I m gonna look into getting into the top of the hill like most of you. See you there, sooner or later...

I'm curious if they allready send the keys,(and i'm unlucky), or they are yet to send.

I would gladly help them, i'm even profesional software tester (worked as lead game tester for several game titles a while back), but that was not on thair form :-)
