does anyone know if I have 3 variants of one chassis and unlock Elite efficiencies, and I decide to sell one of the three 'mechs, will my other two 'mechs still have their elite efficiencies unlocked? thanks

Yes, I believe so.

Be sure to unlock master if you want it before you sell them though, I had to learn that the hard way.

If you have not already found out, it will definitely keep all the efficiencies you unlock even if you sell the mech.
