i run a 2xPPC + SRM6 awesome.
the patch that nerfed SRM really affected my play. but i shook it off. it was a tough blow but i was still doing good damage with my PPC.

this patch made my awesomes completely and totally useless.
3xppc awesome is stupid bad. anyone with any kind of ballistic will out perform you, no matter what it is.
lasers too.

i guess this is just w hat i needed. i was addicted to this game for months. but now i shall take a huge break, it may be months. i don't know.
as long as the AWS is useless i won't be back.

it was nice to make friends here and play as a unit, but i no longer feel i can contribute anything meaningful to a team. there's no upside to this.
have a good game, i hope your mechs still work

We just played a match together last night so I'm assuming your sticking around after all? And we kicked *** too IIRC.

I was also in an AWS 9M sporting 2 ERPPCs, 1 PPC and 2 SRM4. Its has been my favorite build since I got the 9M and is on its way to becoming my favorite mech. Once the SRMs are rebalanced to be more useful these mechs are gonna hit like a ton of bricks.

There are 7 people on the other team(almost 8 actually) that completely disagree with your opinion.
It was one of the 4/5 games I played yesterday, all of them were not bad.
Put 3xMedium Lasers instead of the SRMs and there we go

The 9M is super fun still. Almost easy mode. Real men play mediums anyways.

Yep, have to agree here! Awesomes are a tough chassis to build an play, but it's half the fun. Just cause you suck in it doesn't make it bad, just means you can't play that chassis right, or you aren't playing with a good load out, or you need to drop with a group.
