Continuation of thread for existing bug.
Out of sync/malformed packets causing game to disconnect the player to the mechlab.

Ok, I am now 100% convinced it is due to packet loss on this link: xe-0-2-0.nyc34.ip4.tinet.net. I was running fine, as soon as my path took this route... back to mechlab.

So, someone (I will try) or PGI needs to get in contact with them, and have them clean that fiber... or make the game more accepting of dropped packets.

Where do you guys find this log file? Maybe this is causing my connection problems. However I'm not dropping from game to 'mech lab, but from game to log in screen.

yea the new patch or the load on the servers because of it, has certainly made it much worse i cant even finish a game

this is different issue
the malformed out of order packet error only kicks you from the match not the entire game,
you remain logged in and even with group but are returned to the mechlab

I'll just leave this here, was never a major issue before this last patch. I can't seem to get more then 2 or 3 minutes into a match before this happens, 2 to 3 minutes actually being uncommon and this(>30 seconds) being the norm.

Getting the same problem and error message. I haven't finished a game since the patch, and I never had connection or crashing problems before this. The game is completely unplayable for me now. The longest I've been in game was maybe 7 minutes. Most of the time I'm dropped before the 2 minute mark, usually at first contact with the enemy which leaves my unpiloted mech standing right in front of them to laugh at. Very annoying.

Maybe PGI could stand up a dedicated server for all the ping tests going on, sure would hate to be contributing to the problems.

Have Comcast, whole network was recently upgraded by them so the router having packet loss was at the local office. Still getting disconnects over receiving malformed packets from PGI. Would be nice to get a write up on this issue similar to the one on the HUD bug.
