Someone said this above, but once the splash isn't JUST hitting the CT, this will balance out. When all that damage is spread across the CT, side torsos, and arms, it's not going to be quite so dominating.

I went out in a few matches last night in my Stalker brawler and cleaned house by getting within 179m of people that only had LRMs. You need to be a lot more careful until they get the tweak in, but it's not impossible: just take out the scout spotting you. If you have a taste for irony, do it by tagging them and hitting them with LRMs.

For the short term, until they have the tweak in? Go boat it up and rake in the cbills.

Never thought i could do over 1000dmg on my Jenner before this patch. I love all LRM guys! Please don't change LRM's for useless ballistic and energy weapons

I tried running an LRM mech, but it wasn't too successful. It's just not my play style. It seems a single LRM boat isn't too bad. It damages you pretty good, but you can still survive it if you're near cover. It does suck when there are 3-4 LRM mechs all raining on you at the same time, which is exactly what I think is happening now. LRMs are new again, so everyone is trying them. Makes them seem OP, but, other than the ridiculous flight path, I don't think they are. Rather, it's just that everyone is using them. Last night I ran into more coordinated teams than I have in a long time. It seems every one had at least two JJ lights with TAG, and it was raining missiles all night.

Kinda makes you wish you had a poptart high alpha sniper to deal with all these LRM boats, right?

Wow thank you, was about to freak out and go on a crazy hurley wielding Republician rampage.......but its ok, the strange green hue of my skin is subsiding =)


Also I kinda like that the lrms are beasting people now.......I dont use them or anything but it makes the gameplay more challenging I think. Not in a broken way but it does stop people just blindly advancing over open ground.

10 4 on the state of pugging lrms are boss and it seems the lrm 4 mans are rampant as well as the occasional synced drop... lmao even the ravens are running lrms again its that broke just giggling watching the poptarts splode over and over. kinda glad its hammering my elo but who cares

I have plenty of energy weapons for pesky jenners However, tonight one was running from me. I took him down in 2 LRM salvos. I could never do that with a mech full of medium lasers....
