hey guys!

hope this is the correct subforum for this type of question

what i was wondering about was, when i was reading a bit on sarna.net, how do aerodyne dropships dock onto a jumpship?
because whenever i looked at the concept arts of jumpships, it looks like they dropship collars are designed for spheroid dropships...

but MWO redesigned the leopard DS...so...how does it dock to a jumpship like a Scout or a Merchant?

it's not necessarily an important question...but one that bugs me quite a bit xD

i thank you very much in advance!

Belly down where most have their Transit Drive (the engine they use for travel in deep space so that down is is usually the same direction as when planet side), and use the Aft drive in atmosphere and combat. This is why many Dropships are "sphereoids" so they only need one set of drive engines.

Part of that ending in the MW3 ending video is also from the Ghost Bear beginning.

I will have to find the Info, but, on an aerodyne the transit drive in in back. The way it flys in atmosphere is the way it flys in transit. There is something in the novel about people standing on walls while in transit. It is in one of the Grey Death Legion books.
