While calling premades "exploiters" is goosery of the highest order, there is something to be said about premades running the worst of the FOTM cheese builds and running roughshod over anything they encounter.

Running a coordinated 4-man HGN-732 poptart lance is just cruel, borderline anti-social behavior. You really have to have no regard for your opponent's enjoyment of the game to run such a vicious lance composition.

Yep. I agree about the pure Assault lance.
But I think other un-fixed game mechanics currently allow that - in my opinion there should be some weight restrictions implemented, that allow 3-4 assaults per game the most.
I rarely see any medium mechs anymore - more than one per match anyways - and this is cause of the fact, that the assaults are the ones that are the most endurable toward the current metagame state.
I've played with a team, not one or two games, but we NEVER EVER dropped with ANY combination of ANY cheesy builds.
And that's the way we show our respect toward the other people in the game.

Not to mention, that even tho I can claim them VERY good players, as I like to think I am one myself, we've lost about the half of those matches - we were either matched against better/more cheesy teams, or we were matched with team mates, that doesn't understand the meaning of "teamplay"(I don't blame them - everyone started this game at this point by a way or another).
Either way around - I don't think that's imballanced - I think that people have a thingy against not winning 80%+ of the games.
I am not that kind of person - I can lose and still feel good about it, cause I know very well that I tore my back to do the best I can for the team.

So that's the main question here:
Do those teams actually prevent people for achieving the 80+% victories in this game, or it's mostly all the other factors's fault?
My opinion point mostly toward the second one, at least on the higher ELO brackets it is that way.
But it's really hard to make a valid statement, since there are HGN poptarts and PPC stalkers everywhere and we all know that not all of them deserve to be that high in the food chain don't we :D

I tend to "lone wolf" and drop into random games, but ingame i tend to stick with my lance, or the group of guys that seem to have a plan and support them, it works wonders.

Premades are only a problem when i drop with a group of headless hens that spread out and die alone...

Now i do agree that 4 player premades are a little to big for 8 vs 8 matches, would be ok for 12 vs 12 where they would make up 33% of a team, rather than 50% like they do now.
