If I charge full speed into a building, I hear nothing. If I am trying to back up and I run into a cliff face or a low boulder, I stop moving, but I don't get any audio cue as to why.
My mech has audible footfalls. It would help immersion (and make piloting a little easier) if you could hear sounds when you ran into things. Ideally there'd be different sounds for different material interactions and varying speeds.

+1 on this suggestion!
Audible environmental queues are definitely a huge component of spatial awareness.
Good suggestion.

Additionally we need more interaction sounds, like falling, running into other mechs, scraping against a surface (sounds and looks great in hawken)/ sliding down a surface, different and more varied foot falls. ambient map sounds like wind, water, fire etc.
plus some more "mech sounds" like fans, grinding and other internal sounds would be awesome

Is there any ETA on when collisions will be back in?
