Cannot Auto-Walk While In Chat, Map, Or While Pressing Tab

I searched for this and couldn't find anything, so I don't know how common/prevalent this bug is.

Whenever a match starts, I start with 100% throttle - which isn't that annoying. However, any time I press tab to bring up the score, the map, or start typing in chat my throttle reduces to 0%. I basically cannot do anything strategic and continue walking, which is particularly annoying when running around as a light mech. Upon releasing tab, or exiting the map or chat my throttle goes instantly to 100%, regardless of what is was set to before.

I was just seeing if anyone else has experienced this and has found a work around.

this only happens when your using throttle decay. turn it off and you should be ok.

I never use throttle decay. I have however tried turning it on and back off again, but this has not helped.

yep, seems to have done it for me aswell after the lastest patch. sry for the confusion.

I don't have any trouble with this. Try setting a speed with the numpad and then typing?
