After a successful hit on an enemy base you still have to get out. I know they've said there will be Mission type or Objective based game modes beyond capture zone. Now, that's all well and good, but a mission isn't over until you get to the evac zone.

Lets say team A accomplished their goal of destroying team Bs base. That's all well and good, but team A still needs to evac. Now... even though Team A "won" by completing their objective, if they all die Salvage should go to Team B, albeit they lost the main objective.

I see where you are coming from. the strike group have taken out the main objective (Base) and are now heading for their Drop Ship. Meanwhile, What ever is left of Team B, possibly their perimeter recon group, are looking for payback.

The Evac itself could be termed as an extended objective, Team A having completed the primary objective (and therefore will get their chunk of C-Bills). The chances are very high that Team A have taken significant damage and expended most of their ballistic ammo in the assault and will therefore not be battle ready.

The probability of an ambush from Team B would be high (This could even be an extended objective in its own right) and with the right units, (I am thinking Light Recon E.G. Spider, Commando, Raven or god forbid, Flea) it could be very successful and rewarding (both in C-Bills & salvage) for the remnants of Team B.

the main requirement for this to work would be for the Drop Ship LZ to be as far as possible from the Base. Ideal scenarios being Alpine, Tourmaline or the new canyon scenario.

You made my suggestion sound so pretty. You have a silver tongue and I thank you for it.

This is mainly a way to extend objective game play and also a way so that Salvage can go to the winning or losing side.

ANYWAY, I'd like it if there were civilian trucks and such (with very simple AI pathing) as well. It would evoke the memory of playing Company of Heroes and force-targeting medics that are carrying wounded soldiers (since your soldiers would not automatically shoot at them). I always wanted a special "war crimes" medal to pop up whenever I did that.... maybe my wish can finally come true in MW:O :)?
