Bg, another frog with ppc\gauss. Boring...

If you mean that it can mount ballistics, energy and jump jets, then yes, it is. But that's a pretty wide net you're casting.

Don't bother fixing:

Matchmaking
HUD glitches
Disconnects
Crash to Desktops
SRMs
Poptarting
Completely broken heatscale leading to 6 ERPPC boats
Splash (that shouldn't have been in the game to begin with)...

Matchmaking - is only broken because people whined about how unfair it was before ELO.

Hud glitches - are pretty much nonexistent on any halfway decent PC now.

Disconnects - are far less frequent, but still need a bit of work.

CTD - have not had that happen since two patches ago.

SRMS - I agree, they need a damage boost and splash removed.

Poptarting - is a non-issue for people who know how to use cover.

Completely broken heatscale leading to 6ERPPC boats - not broken at all, these mechs will overheat after one or two alphas. Just wait for the clans, then you will see real "boating"

Splash - I actually completely agree that this should never have been in the game, tabletop rules for missiles, would have actually translated pretty well to real-time.

Alex has once again blown away my expectations with his designs.
A perfect choice for the next Assault mech.

Zeus. Missiles right arm, Energy right, left, center torso, dual Ballistic left arm. Shoulder wings. Tiny cockpit.

The one thing I remember about the Victor is how easy it was to kill because of the large dome head. Every shot a guarenteed CT hit from any direction. GL.

This was my best attempt at a 3 A/C-20 Victor

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ba3c0ee8138fd03

4 tons of ammo and no DHS (the Gauss ammo is a SHS, the 2PPC+LRM-15+2JJ+3DHS=2A/C-20s in weight and slots). I don't think that's too bad, but the 2 A/C-20, that should be pretty scary.

We still have a gap at 75 tons, and I keep hoping for a Marauder. :D

Not holding my breath for it, but kinda hoping.

We're getting the Orion at 75 tons. What are you talking about ?! :D

...and I love the Victor, it should have a fairly good stock speed too and be much more responsive than that cow of a Highlander

"Patrick Kell fought his last battle on Styx in a Victor-9B in May 3027; the 'Mech was destroyed." I remember reading this novel very well, loving it! He scarificed himself to save the rest of the Kell Hounds. I would so buy a Hero Mech dedicated to Patrick Kells' memory (plus Kell Hounds were always my favorite Mech unit!).

An interesting custom variant from Sarna:

Ten medium lasers sounds like a beast! Though, it might be called P2W if made into a hero mech while other Victors don't have nearly as many laser hardpoints

That and the JA would be my two varients if they came out... my lord 10 laser hardpoints, THINK OF THE CHILDREN PGI.

An 80 ton Heavy Metal

AKA faster Heavy Metal.

Dude, can you imagine what he could have done with the Zeus or Mauler? its a shame we got the Trebuchet's big brother for the sole reason he would have made those two look ******* boss

I like it, but I feel like my poor, poor Awesome is just falling behind... I mean, first the Stalker, now the Victor...

Hmm, so the base design has an ac/20 in one arm, and 2 Mlas and an SRM4 in the other?

That's a pretty decent hardpoint configuration- basically a really ghetto Heavy Metal.

This battlemech looks like it's made for me, moving at 64.8 km/h. It's like they've morphed the best of a medium with the best of a heavy and morphed it into an assualt. I can't wait to Help be part of the the spearhead in this thing.

Agreed, I like the Victor. BUT in the end, its really just a smaller Highlander.

The Mauler would have been the best choice, imo.

A shame they are going to paint it solid green when they sell it to us in a few months...

I'd pay a little extra for that paint job...

Maybe we can get it as a faction skin come CW.
