First time post here. I tried searching and couldn't find anything that seems to be related short of a similar issue back in 2012.
Anyway, when I load MWO i'm brought to the usual screen which checks for patches. It's reporting that there is a new patch. When I hit the patch button, the orange bar makes it maybe 5 millimeters across the screen and then the whole programs just exits.
As far as I know, the last time I patched was the large patch earlier this week.
I'm running the game from a folder outside of the default install path, but that hasn't been an issue for the last few patches.
Any ideas? If I've missed some detail please let me know and I'll provide it.
Other than that, great game so far devs! I've only been playing about a week after a MW3/MW4 binge last week.

Whoops, big goof on my end. After digging around the files, I found the patcher log file. For some reason, it was wanting to save the patch to my F drive which is a USB stick. I popped it in and it worked fine. /me debates deleting this so PGI can't find it when I submit an application after finishing my CS degree
