like the title states ban macro users
using a external program to get a advantage
macros are no different than hacking
if macros are fare game then might as well allow aimbots
ooo that is right you guys cant detect the biggest aim bot makers right now because you are too ******* stupid to just go buy a sub from the hack makers counter it and ban all the little **** bags.

You can make one yourself, it is not like only certain people can use it. If you choose not to use it then so be it, don't bring other people down because of your choice.

PGI have already put a stance on this they say it's legit. i don't use any macros personally or even have any AC's on my mechs. but i understand why you don't like them

you are right anyone can use macros just like anyone can hack or exploit but some of us chose not to and PGI should ban all of you scum bags for exploiting a game braking mechanic

Here is the Official Thread that outlines the official policy on using Macros. I will post an excerpt of it here:
Using a Macro to push the trigger for you is currently not cheating. Macros cannot make the weapons actually fire faster or increase your firepower. Multiple AC/2 weapons can be (nearly) perfectly staggered without the use of Macros, as I have much experience in using the Lead Curtain JagerMech builds that stagger-fire large numbers of AC/2s using only a simple keyboard stroke and mapping my weapons correctly (with no macros).
As you can see from the excerpt, aimbots are banned and you should not feel so angry about PGI about it.

Q: My mouse/keyboard came with macro software that lets me emulate a series of clicks or helps me with some process. Is this allowed?
A: Yes, using macros as provided by 3rd party hardware vendors is allowed. Though the use of any modifications to assist with aiming, aimbots, wall hacks, or any attempt to give information or tactical assistance that other players would not have by default, is a serious violation of our Terms of Use and any account found to be using such software will likely be suspended or banned.
