I would move that ammo to the legs and the jump jets to the torso. Putting ammo in the side torso when you have an XL is never a good idea. Otherwise, as you said, its basically a jumping hunchback except more vulnerable because of the XL. I'd probably actually put a slightly bigger engine in it by removing two of the jump jets and an external heatsink (which actually gets replaced by an internal one from the engine, so your heat efficiency is actually going up). Also, reaching above 81 kph is pretty much a must for mediums IMO.
