Isn't that a known bug? Showing more people on an opposing team than there actually are?
(I may be incorrect, I have not been playing much recently, but I am pretty sure I remember this bug)

i used to see the brackets but these were filled and this was well i was wondering if there were "too many men in the huddle" lol

The "extra players" are actually just duplication of player names... check the roster carefully and whenever you find more than 8 players, you'll also find that there are accidental duplication of names. It is a known bug of the game at this time, so don't worry about being outnumbered like that
