Well for the past month i have done nothing but drop with random groups, and try to support their cause in the forums and teach them a thing or two about playing the game and tactics, now its time to find myself a clan and drop with some pre-made groups.....

why...........

well it goes like this.....

My last drop was in my founders jenner running with streaks, small lasers and tag, its more of a scout and base capper than an actual damage mech, so i noticed that our team had some lrm's
(just by watching pre-match team chat)
so i said i will mark up and spot targets for the lrm's, i did exactly that, did i see 1 lrm fly across the sky?
nope not 1,
so i said your target is within range and marked up shoot some lrms at it, still nothing, okay so i moved on to another target, same thing, still no lrms, so i ran to dude with the lrm's and sure enough he was wandering towards cover in his stryker, kewl i thought, a dude with a plan.
So off i went and spotted another 3 mechs, tagged one and waited for the lrm's to come, and waited, and waited abit more. Still no steel rain, so i asked why dont you fire your Lrm's dude? i mean you have packed ammo for them right?
"Yes" he said
So at this point i was out in the open with constant tag on a target, how he hadn't sussed i was there still baffles me but still, i decided to find some cover and find out why lrm support was so delayed. By this time 2 of our front line mechs had ran into some heavy artillery and were just piles of smoldering metal and oil on the floor, si i managed to find a spot briefly for a quick chat with our dude with the lrm's
"why wont you fire your lrm's m8" i asked
he said
"because if i fire them im gonna be surrounded by little mechs in no time at all"
so i replied with
"well i can help you with them but first you need to fire them so we can get rid of the bigger threats or at least weaken them for the others to finish off"
there was a few moments of silence then Eurika
"Okay, give me a target then" he said
So off i went and found a nasty looking jaeger mech which had either 2 ac20's or gauss, i noticed the shape of the barrels and remembered from my jaegers that the ac5 and the uac5 were alot narrower and the uac5 had 3 barrels, with my mind made up i tagged the jaeger, keeping cover pretty close by just incase i needed to make a run for it, over came the missiles i even managed to get few blasts with my lasers and streaks, the jeager died in true style under the steal rain.
But to cut a long story short we lost the match very quickly with three of out team with a match score under 5, i came top of our team with a match score of 22, this was a pure random player group and we were obviously against at least 1 pre-made 4 man lance group as they moved pretty much as 1 unit except for that jaeger, i can only pressume that he went afk or something but he was the only enemy mech to have been killed.

So the moral of the story is that if your in a light mech and you do more damage and get a higher match score than the assaults and heavy mechs in your pug group, its time to throw in the towel and leave the ug ug bash bash attitude players to their own little heroic world.

I just thought i would share that with you all, seems a change to the complaining and whining

If this wasn't complaining and whining, I have no idea what it was

My first rule of PUGing is, don't expect anything at all from your teammates and you'll never be disappointed!

You had a bad match when you dropped with random pugs? I'm shocked! Truly shocked! Since when do pugs flounder about like an epileptic elephant seal on dry land? Truly, this is a unique experience you share here.

lolz culler im an epileptic myself so i know what your talking about there.....

But seriously though i dont see my post as complaining nor whining, merely just relating something that happened during a battle that i saw as funny as was the deciding point for me to stop playing pure pug matches, so Alistair i think you need to find out the true meaning and nature of whining and complaining, because i see neither :-

To Complain

1. to express resentment, displeasure, etc., esp habitually; grumble

2. (foll by of) to state the presence of pain, illness, etc., esp in the hope of sympathy, she complained of a headache

[from Old French complaindre, from Vulgar Latin complangere (unattested), from Latin com- (intensive) + plangere to bewail]

Whining

whine(hwPosted Imagen, wPosted Imagen)
v. whined, whin·ing, whines
v.intr.

1. To utter a plaintive, high-pitched, protracted sound, as in pain, fear, supplication, or complaint.

2. To complain or protest in a childish fashion.

3. To produce a sustained noise of relatively high pitch: jet engines whining.

v.tr.

To utter with a whine.

n.

1. The act of whining.

2. A whining sound.

3. A complaint uttered in a plaintive tone

So as you see its an explanation not a complaint nor a whine ;p

Coming from a douche who calls out his teammates position in all chat to the enemy when he's dead and feeling really sad for himself. To bad it didnt work that time did it derp derp. I wonder how many poor players you've gotten ganked cause you were such an *******.
